We had another exciting week in preschool 5. Students learned more vowel teams including oa, ie, and ee. We also learned the sounds for z and j. Students were excited to use our “hot spot” games and the iPads during listening centers. We practiced our tricky words by writing them with letter magnets and sorted objects by their beginning sounds. In math we continued practicing telling time to the hour and half hour. Students learned our new learner profiles for the unit. We are focusing on being open-minded, balanced, and caring. Thank you for viewing our post, please write a comment about something you learned this week or your favorite part of the week.
My favorite part of the week was learning about how pirates take baths on the iPad.
Hi Noga. I am glad you enjoyed the listening center on the iPads. We thought “Do Pirates Take Baths” would be a fun story since we were learning the “or” and “ar” sounds.
It’s a shame Joel missed this week, it looks like you had a fab week.
We missed him being there, too and are glad that he’s back! We look forward to hearing about his trip during Show-and-Tell this week. 🙂
Hi Matilde loved the game of memory card with the time. She cutted all the clocks and played alone (pretending she was a teacher) and also she played with all of the family.
Thanks Mrs Shanna you are doing a lot of interesting things
I’m glad Matilde enjoyed the game! She has been doing a great job in class during our time lessons too!
